A day like today, a government holiday, kinda makes me nervous. What if I had died in my sleep last night? How soon would anyone know? It's not like my boss would call me and wonder where I am, and the mailman wouldn't see anything suspicious if he's not delivering mail to my house today. I am totally off the radar now, with no accountability at all. Perhaps I should collect unemployment, as so very many people have suggested, just so the unemployment people would hold me accountable and be the first to report me if I died in my sleep.
