When you have no job and dwindling money, you have to come up with ways to kill time that do not cost anything. For example, one can hang out at the library or Joseph-Beth Booksellers. Or one can take advantage of the Lexington Herald-Leader "Deal of the Day" coupon. Every day, our local newspaper publishes a coupon for something free, no strings attached, which is more valuable than the newspaper itself. Today that coupon is for a free game of bowling at Southland or Eastland. This particular offer is my second favorite, running very close behind the "free nuggets at Chick-Fil-A" offer. If you have today's Lexington paper, please rip out the bowling coupon on page B2 and send it to me. If you don't have today's Lexington paper, please send me some bowling money. |
