One of the great things about being a city boy instead of a country boy is that I don't have to work hard like a country boy would. Do I ever have to pump water from the well? No, I get city water. Do I ever have to toss all my trash in the back of the pickup truck and take it to the nearest dumpster? No, the city sends solid-waste trucks to my house twice a week to pick up my garbage. Do I ever have to shovel snow off my driveway? Well, yes, the city doesn't do that. This morning I raked all my leaves to the curb, knowing that the leaf truck would be visiting soon, and less than an hour later, they arrived at my house! What timing.
