In 2002, I counted 60 kids at my door on Halloween. This year the weather in Lexington is beautiful and warm, but I've only served 40 kids. What up? I reckon the other 20 are skipping my street because most of my neighbors have their porch lights off. Bad neighbors! Be more generous! This is my third year giving out candy, and it's the first year I've put on a costume. Like the clown nose? One kid was really fascinated by it and asked me if it made a noise when you push it. I said, "it smells like a Nerf ball and makes the same sounds as a Nerf ball." And it keeps falling off, dang. |
