My former housemate Valerie called me earlier this week and asked me if I wanted to go with her to Keeneland on Friday. She received free passes from her employer because her company bought an ad in the Yellow Pages or something. With me being so unemployed and available (and thoroughly informed on how to pick horses), I was the perfect Keeneland companion. So we spent a few hours at Keeneland today, eating in the Phoenix Room restaurant, betting on horseraces, and swing dancing in the paddock area. Lots of fun. Great weather, too. Thanks, V! |
