1. How many times have you truly been in love?
I've lost count. "Love comes quickly," according to the Pet Shop Boys.

2. What was/is so great about the person you love(d) the most?
She lets me be me and doesn't try to change me. Plus, she is beautiful, with an excellent complexion.

3. What qualities should a significant other have?
Here's a condensed version of "the list" that I've been compiling over the years:  joyful, playful, intelligent, nonsmoking, nondrinking, maternal (good with kids and wants kids), honest, assertive, even-tempered, resourceful, attractive, wise, conservative, encouraging, expressive, nonjudgmental, low-maintenance.  If she likes computers and dancing, all the better.

4. Have you ever broken someone's heart?
Oh, yeah, constantly. Usually it has something to do with me being in high demand on the ballroom dance floor. The woman I just danced with is never pleased when I get invited to dance by a new woman.

5. If there was one thing you could teach people about love, what would it be?
Dang, I may be self-promoting here on my weblog, but there's nothing I could possibly add to all the love lessons that are already out there (like the Bible passage: I Corinthians 13).
