Last Friday I got to see a new Lexcall public service announcement which will be broadcast on Lexington television. There's a brief shot of me on the phone saying "Urban County Government, Lexcall, how may I help you?" And this amuses me for two reasons:
- I don't take calls for them; I just do computer work.
- When the new fiscal year begins in July, they're kicking me out.
Yes, that's right, my part-time job has been cut from the next budget, so I need to find myself a new employer in less than two months. If all else fails, and I don't find work, I plan to spend a summer just hanging out with my sister and parents in Deltona, Florida.
