Last night I came up with a new year's resolution to write more snail mail. I have an urge to write at least one
letter per month to people on my Christmas card list. Unfortunately, since I thought of that resolution on the last day of January, it was too late for me to keep it (if it was aimed at the new calendar year, 2003). Today I noticed in my datebook that it is the start of the Chinese New Year, which means I can start my new resolution today with the intent of keeping it going during a Chinese Year.
