Unlike Valerie (pictured above with Darren), I don't have a guy I can pal around with. Just about all of my friends are women, save for a few guys I used to see at work or such. What if I get married? Who would be my best man? Who would throw me a bachelor party? Maybe my cousin Danny. When I was working for Harold in early 2002, I used to really enjoy hanging out at my coworker Robert's house because he and his best friend Brad would play highly competitive video games and talk trash to each other -- which was great fun to watch. I would view their friendship from the sidelines and wish I had a male buddy to talk trash with. But that's how life goes, I guess. I only attract female friends and girlfriends. |
