Danielle posing with the 103rd dalmatian

Danielle is getting well

18 Jul 2003

Today I drove Danielle around so she could see her town through new eyes, and run some errands. Along the way we passed a car with a license plate that said "SQLGOD." Once I explained to Danielle what SQL is, we backed the car up to say hello to the SQL god. He was a very friendly guy, just what you'd expect from a god. And the car above is not his car; it's a "103rd dalmatian" car we found parked and painted near the Lexington labyrinth on 3rd Street.

So Danielle is in her second week of recovery, and she is doing much better.

As for me, I'm fine, but my shoulders are peeling. On the "about Brett" page of this site, I have written that "I spend my life indoors (offices, malls, movies, dances)." That means I very rarely spend enough time in the sun to get a sunburn, but my recent trip to Florida included two long trips to the beach. Now I remember the consequences for enjoying the sun too much, dang.
