Today my mom left me a shocking voice mail message! She said she wanted to come up to Lexington to visit me as early as tomorrow night, "[unless] you got your girlfriend spending the night." Never before has Mom acknowledged that women could/would/should spend the night with me. (And I can neither confirm nor deny that I sometimes have a girlfriend spending the night with me.) The photo above shows my niece Rachel and my mom, both of whom have spent the night at my house. |
