Back in the day, I was much nicer. Now I'm realizing that my personality must have changed quite a bit because I find myself frequently hurting people without intending to. Most recently I have been harsh to Sue, Emily, Dad, and Tanya. In all cases, I was just wanting to express myself in a brief but direct manner, but I gave no thought to how my words would come across. This cost me mucho at least twice last year. Some of my friends are really good about shrugging off my verbal attacks, and I thank them for sticking around. But I might need them to stop me before my personality becomes a miller-vaniller relationship killer. If you saw the last Scrubs (with guest star Rick Schroder), you can substitute me into the Dr. Cox part. |
